Top U.S. Navy chief visits MQ-25 aerial refueling drone production line
MQ-25 aerial refueling drone developments, carrier-based unmanned aircraft, that will allow for better use of combat, meet current, and future threats and enhance, refueling and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities in support, of national defense objectives
Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Michael Gilday, also visited last week to American, plane-maker Boeing facility in St. Louis, to see the MQ-25 world’s first carrier-based, unmanned aircraft, and F/A-18 Super Hornet Block III fighter, production lines.
The U.S. Navy is closely following, the developments of its newest carrier-based unmanned aircraft, the MQ-25 aerial refueler, that will allow for better use of combat, strike fighters by extending the, range of deployed Boeing Super Hornet, Boeing EA-18G Growler, and Lockheed Martin F-35C aircraft.
