‘Mata-e-Jaan Hai Tu’ – An Intricate Love Story




Farhat Ishtiaq’s name has immediately come to the limelight after the record success of Humsafar – a Hum TV presentation. The Pakistani drama serial Mata-e-Jaan Hai Tu is another such venture based on a novel by Farhat Ishtiaq.
Farhat Ishtiaq is a young novelist and screenwriter who focuses the love intricacies and romantic stories.
The story of Mata-e-Jaan Hai tu whirls around Haniya and Ibad’s love story placed in the context of Pakistani social set up which has its set peculiarities and cultural confinements.
Though the main characters – Haniya and Ibad – are shown to live in Columbia, yet their roots and values are strictly Pakistani, and thus they behave Pakistani. How would the love and other relationships be dealt in such a scenario, is the point lensed by Farhat Ishtiaq. Mata e Jaan Hai Tu – the latest Hum TV presentation – is gradually progressing, unfolding the story and characters with a cuteness, and simplicity, imparting a realistic touch to the drama. Four episodes have been broadcasted so far at Hum TV, and the remaining are awaited by the viewers.

Ibad Uzair – the main character playing against Hanniya Sajjad – is a model son, student and an ideal guy. Then we have mama jani – Haniya’s granny, Ibad’s parents, AdilIbad’s friend and many more to support and knit the plot for the main characters.

Then there is Adil Hussain with his tough and masculine looks. Both Sarwat and Adil are not less than eye candies. Besides their dialogue delivery is spontaneous and life like. They are showing up a good chemistry as their relationship is unfolded, taking its roots. Sanam Saeed and Junaid Khan – playing Yamina and adam respectively – are new in the field of acting. Though not mature yet, they are trying to cope with.
Mata-e -aan Hai Tu inherited the fame of Farhat Ishtiaq’s successful project Humsafar.
